A language we all understand
Short Film

A short film celebrating the important role of music in our lives, holding memories, giving us a release, inspiring our own creativity and connecting us to each other.

Inspiration:
The song ‘Sir Duke’ by Stevie Wonder describes the beautiful relationship between people and music and how when people hear it they can’t help but ‘feel it all over’ and ‘sing, dance and clap their hands’. The beginning line of the song ‘Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand’, in particular inspired me
.
The Aim:
To celebrate the role of music in our lives and inspire people to perhaps greater appreciate it and engage with it more. It aims to provoke feelings of nostalgia and warmth and prompt themes of community, creativity and reflection.
